"Of Counsel" Mark E. Porter has brought to our firm high level litigation and counseling skills developed during his service with two of Cleveland’s largest law firms.  He earned his law degree from Rutgers University School of Law, where he graduated in the top 15% of his class, and was a Mock Trial National Team Member.  Mr. Porter is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland.  Thereafter, he earned a Masters Degree in History from the University of Maryland while on active duty as a naval officer.  He is admitted to all state and federal courts in Ohio as well as the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.  Mr. Porter is a member of all state and local bar associations.  In addition, he has the honor of having been made a life member of the Eighth District Judicial Conference, a convocation of judges and lawyers who meet to improve the legal system in Cuyahoga County and in general.  Mr. Porter is active as an elected councilman for his home town of South Russell, Ohio, and in his spare time teaches fencing.  He has tried many cases before juries, judges and arbitrators in criminal and civil cases, and has been a welcome addition to our litigation capacity.
