David B. Gallup was born in Westchester, Pennsylvania, July 6, 1949, admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1979 after five years of teaching, and admitted to the U.S. District Court in 1980.  He is a graduate of the Ohio State University and a law graduate of the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.  He is a member of the Ohio and all local bar associations, where he has been a member of the Ethics Committee, co-chair of the Lawyer-Client Relations Committee (which governs fee dispute resolution), chair of the Lawyer Referral Service Committee and a Trustee.  Although Mr. Gallup is a generalist, he has developed a concentration in general contract and commercial litigation, and consultation for individual and small business clients, with a special concentration in real estate, probate and title litigation practice.  He also maintains a considerable practice in estate planning, consumer protection, personal injury and attorney malpractice.  From 1981 through 1988 he was the prosecutor and assistant law director for the City of Macedonia. Representative clients: First Meridian Title Agency, Stewart Title Guaranty Corporation, Tri-Source Title Agency, Inc., Safeguard Properties, Inc., Ohio Bar Title Insurance Company, National Bank of Detroit, Coldwell Banker, Chrysler Capital Corporation, Matrix Financial Services, Inc., and a number of smaller, local business concerns.
